Friday Night
Meet & Greet

When you register for the Saturday DVP luncheon, you will have the option to indicate if you will be attending the informal Friday Night Meet & Greet in-person on July 14, 2023 from 5:00 - 6:00 PM EST. There is no virtual option this year.


You will also have the option to indicate if you will sign up and eat dinner with a group after the Meet & Greet (pay your own way). We will form car-pools for transportation to & from these restaurants.

Donation Requests

Donations of silent auction items, gift cards, and wine are requested from individuals, ABWA Leagues, Councils, and local businesses. Donations are greatly appreciated, with proceeds helping to fund the District V Vice President’s Celebration, NWLC registrations, and DVP candidates.
Deadline: Notification deadline of donors for the Silent Auction, Envelope Pull, or Cork Pull is June 17, 2023. Donations after that date will NOT be recognized in the program. For each donation, please provide donor name, item name/description, and value to a co-chair.

We are requesting auction items of various themes with a value of $20 to $50. We’re asking Council Chapters to try and provide at least 2-4 auction items each. Auction items are distributed via a Silent Bid Auction.
Please advise the Auction Co-Chairs if you are donating - we will need name of contributor, theme or type of auction item, and approximate $$ value of same so we can complete the bid sheets prior to this event. See flyer for email addresses.

Gift cards for restaurants, gas, clothing stores, home improvement stores, sewing/craft items, on-line games, etc. are needed. Cards can be in various values - $10, $15, $20, $25, or more. Cards should include businesses who are nationally recognized and available in many states.
Cards are distributed through an Envelope Pull. Receiver pays $10 for an envelope, which is guaranteed to have a gift card with a minimum value of $10 or more. If you would like to donate directly to the committee to have them purchase cards, contact one of the co-chairs.
Please advise Envelope Co-Chairs if you are donating so they can prepare the envelopes prior to this event. See flyer for email addresses.

We are requesting donations of wine (red, white, blush, etc.) with a value of at least $10. Wines are distributed through a Cork Pull. Receiver pays $10 for a cork, which is guaranteed to get you a bottle of wine with a minimum value of $10 or more If you would like to donate directly to the committee to have them purchase wines, contact one of the co-chairs.
